BFF’s Get Free: Christina Brown

Christina Brown (age 36 at the time of the recording) shared her story as a Black feminist living in Columbus, OH. From her early childhood in central Ohio, Christina shares the Black feminist wisdom her mother, Deborah Brown, shared “accidentally”. From the home to her Black feminist studies course in undergrad, Christina has found Black feminist communities throughout her life. When asked about her decision to come to Get Free, Christina shared a desire to reconnect and feeling that Get Free is a homecoming.
