BFF’s Get Free: Kennedi Malone

Kennedi Malone (age 20 at the time of recording) is an undergraduate student at Agnes Scott College. She also has a Black feminist jewelry company, Beads for Our Bodies, where she handmakes jewelry and then donates the profits to local reproductive justice organizations in the area. Kennedi discusses the distinction between feminism and womanism. She shares “I felt called to womanism period, because of the ways that it is a more explicit invitation to use spirituality as a framework for liberation.”
